Peter and Paul of the Mac PC guys are amazing. They are honest, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. They answered all my questions and save me a ton of money from buying a new Apple computer. These guys are the real Apple geniuses. They did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. I was not pressured into buying anything. It was just a great experience. Thank God that I met them. They also fixed my wife’s in-laws computers and that’s how I got introduced to them. Do yourself a favor. Go see Peter and Paul of the Mack PC guys before you take your computer anywhere else or think that you have to buy a new computer because your machine not working properly. They even gave me a crash course and how the computers actually work. Very impressive. You will not be disappointed. ~ Andy T

A great example of how business should be conducted: Paul is the technician who serviced my MacBook Pro on a Thursday. We spoke over the phone; I told him I had a short window to get my battery replaced. Rather than waiting days for MicroCenter to meet their backlog (and paying more $ for the service), Paul was empathetic to my needs and ensured I can bring my laptop in that day (Thursday). Sincere, professional and to the point, he said the service would be finished at the earliest Friday and latest Saturday. However, he went the extra mile and performed the replacement same day. That is every customer's dream; I was blown away. This guy is top notch and I highly recommend him for anyone in need of Apple service. ~ Nick C

I Called Apple as my wife was experiencing double keying due to the problem Apple had a recall on the Macbooks dating back to 2016 there was a settlement made in July of 2022 I was told to update the software to Big Sur little did I know that Apple removed 32 bit processing from Big Sur which blew up my Macbook , I brought it to The MAC PC Guys and they got me running again but I lost a lot of Outlook data . I knew that my appointment with apple had to be a running computer Case id 30000001832429- got to apple on March 6th and was sold by the Genuis that I was not covered as it was over 4 years from 2016 but for 599.00 they could fix the problem, I looked on line on saw a Macbook Air called The Mac PC Guys they said they could match it and updated the New Pre-owned computer with what they had gleaned off my old computer an made me a happy camper. ~ La T

Pete and Paul replaced the screen on my MacBook Pro and did an excellent job. The repair was clean, the laptop came back looking right, and everything works exactly as it should. What stood out again was how straightforward and professional they are. No upselling, no vague explanations, no unnecessary delay. They communicated clearly, did the work properly, and returned the machine in great shape. This was my second time using them for the same laptop, and both experiences were solid. I first contacted The Mac PC Guys a while back because my 2019 iMac had always been slow and frustrating to use. I thought it might need more memory, but the technician told me over the phone it was most likely the hard drive and confidently said it would feel like a new computer once replaced. I was skeptical, but about a month later I brought it in — and they were absolutely right. After the hard drive replacement, my iMac runs like a brand new machine. The difference is unbelievable. Pete and Paul have been the exclusive IT team for my CPA practice since 2008, and I highly recommend their services. They have guided me from iMacs to laptops to my current custom designed PC. They understood my technology business needs so that the computer they built for me would have enough memory and speed required for the many tax and accounting softwares that I use on a daily basis. They work as a cohesive team and are able to explain the computer speak to my accountant brain! Recently, Paul was integral in helping me update to Windows 11 - I was getting an error message that basically Microsoft’s solution was for me to purchase a new pc. Paul did not hesitate to walk me through how to possibly fix the issue while was in my office. Unfortunately it didn’t work, so I brought my PC in so that he could update it for me AND have it ready for me ahead of the promise date, so that I minimal disruption to my business. I can't begin to describe how thankful I am I found this place. I essentially rely on my laptop for everything, so when the battery begin dying on me randomly, I was VERY worried. Despite the pandemic, the MACPCGuys took in my laptop, examined it and changed the battery for SIGNIFICANTLY less than what Apple would have done. They were flexible with communication and incredibly understanding. Hey folks out there search no more if you’re having a problem with your PC or Apple product I’m a local DJ who had a big problem with an internal program at a hard drive. They were able to fix my computer. Save all my info from my hard drive. suggest a new hard drive upload everything onto the hard drive and make sure everything was working. They took their time and did it correctly? What more could you ask for? I would recommend them 1000% to anyone. ~ thomas a

I’ve been going to Peter at Mac/pc for prob just shy of 10 years. They have never let me down and always delivered. I’ve purchased numerous refurb MacBook pros from them and as a mobile dj, specs regarding these devices are super important. Peter and Paul have always taken time w me to go over options and help me get the best deal possible on top equipment. They’ve been super patient as I’ve come at them with a lottt of questions. They have also repaired a handful of my computers and it’s always been great work with excellent turn around time. I just went to them for another Mac Pro and they helped me to find something actually better than what I was looking for and at a very good price point for what I needed inside of it. Not to mention they made it happen in a very short time period before a very important event which was what I was hoping for but wasn’t expecting. This company saved my MacBook Pro from liquid damage. After having to wait over a week to get an appointment from the Apple store, just to be recommended by them to go to American Computer, they fixed my computer in a week at less than half the cost the Apple Store wanted to charge me to buy a new model, and they saved what I thought was my lost data ! My husband found Paul quite accidentally and was so pleased with his knowledge of computers as well as his professional and promptness in executing a solution to our several problems. The Gentleman at The Mac PC Guys are absolutely the best IMac repair and configuration experts I’ve ever came across. Wish I knew about them many years ago and certainly would have used their services back then for my out of warranty iMac repairs. They are actually more knowledgeable than the Apple tech personnel. They are also certified by apple and have the certificates proudly displayed. I had some issues with my Mid 2017 imac. Turned out to be hard drive issues. They replaced it, took care of all backing up , upgraded to 4 times the capacity with much better parts then what Apple provides. Tuned my iMac to perform faster and better. What’s even more amazing is Co-Owner Peter. One of the most friendliest, professional and caring person you can come across. I had some strange home network issues unrelated to my hardware issues and upon mentioning this, literally spent hours to help identify it and work out a solution. He saved the day and much more. I’m so happy to have met these gentleman and going forward will only trust them for computing and network related issues. Thank You for all you do. ~ L L

These guys were such a pleasure to deal with. My old macbook pro got destroyed from water damage and I couldn't afford a brand new one so they set me up with a 2015 and it's a beast. It does just as much as my old one, if not more. The whole process was enjoyable and seamless and they even let me take home their demo while they got mine ready. The MacPC guys have given new life to my 2012 MacBook Pro more than once. Each time I bring it in I expect the standard response would be that it’s useful life is over and you need a new computer but they keep rescuing it. Repaired Macbook Pro in <24 hours even during busy time for them with the COVID pandemic. Had to bring the laptop back to address an issue that was missed, but he asked me to wait 15 minutes- he made the repair while I was there and gave me significant reduction in price for having to come back. I live in the area and have driven past the store for years. So when my iMac stopped working Apple told me it was my hard drive crashing and it could be repaired. I called American and they could not have been nicer. I dropped the computer in a Friday afternoon and it was repaired by Saturday! Of course for a fraction of the cost a new computer would have been. I will definitely go back with any other future concerns. ~ Jodie F

Paul & his Dad, Pete are the nicest people and will give you an honest assessment of the work your device needs. I'm a DJ and my MacBooks are mission critical to what I do. I've had them do upgrade and repair work on my a couple of my MacBooks and had them upgrade my iMac desktop transforming it into a workhorse beast. So happy to have found this place - close to home and no need to deal with "the mall" parking and schlepping. I have used American Computer a couple of times for on site service for my small business. As a small business owner it is difficult to have to disconnect my computer to bring it in for service, American Computers eliminates that worry. their on site service is A+ and very reasonably priced. I was having as issue with my Mac. A friend told me about the Mac PC guys in Bellmore . I met Peter and his son Paul they explained everything to me and answered some of my questions and two days later I had a new used Mac with the latest software and OS system. Later, I brought in my damaged MacBook for repairs. They replaced the shell, charging port, and battery, all at a very reasonable price. The result? Paul and Peter were honest, knowledgeable and got my 2020 13" MacBook Pro (A2338) running again after not being able to start it up. They were able to diagnose an internal issue and sent it out to an affiliate for repair. They saved my data and got my machine running again at a FRACTION of what Drive Savers was asking.
